Morimura started producing dolls in 1915. They set out to imitate the much loved German doll and thought they in fact, achieved a degree of success.
This adorable doll comes with her original jointed composition body, brown glass rocker eyes, open mouth and teeth, and beautiful mohair strawberry blonde wig tied in a braid in the back of her head. Her porcelain head is in very good condition. Her expression is so sweet and she loves her chair, which is included.
Dressed in one piece underwear, exquisite dress and matching cap that looks original to the doll, black stockings and shoes.
